Today my blog is being featured on Stampin' Pretty with Mary Fish. In honor of this, I made a card using a gate fold lacey electronic die cut from Monica's. Monica designs very pretty and intricate cuts and the best part - they are free! I backed the die cut with a tan shimmer cardstock and rounded the inside corners. I made a vellum belly band wrapped in ribbon and topped with a lavender metal flower and some die cut leaves. The inside of the card has a layered die cut in lavender and white, edged with antique photo distress ink. I like how pretty and delicate this card looks, and it would be perfect for an anniversary, birthday, or even a "just to say hello" card! It would even make a great Valentines Day card because of all the little heart cutouts!

Beautiful card Judy! Your flower is so eye catching. Would love to know how you created it.
ReplyDeleteI didn't make the flower. I got it from Michaels. It's a Prima collection and there were 6 flowers per card all different colors. Very pretty collection. I'm glad you liked my card!
DeleteJust came over from Mary Fish's site. Your work is beautiful. Being from the east coast, we stay in to work on paper because it is so cold, wet and snowy out. Ha. Ha. Thanks for sharing. :)
