Butterfly Kisses

This card is for the challenge at Crazy 4 Challenges, challenge #240, using stenciles.  I have had this doily stencil for awhile, but have not had a chance to use it.  So this was the perfect time to pull it out and make this card.  I used tea dye distress ink with shades of antique photo ink.  The flowers are Martha Stewart flowers that were white, but I colored them with yellow copic markers and colored the centers brown for more color.  Then I added the butterlies and the sentiment. The blue butterfly is tamped on vellum and embossed with blue embossing powder and fussy cut.

Red, White and Blue

It's a color challenge at Stampin Pretty Pals using the color red, white and blue.  I combined this challenge with a sketch challenge #140 at Freshly Made Sketches and also at Crazy 4 Challenges #243 It made a very stricking card.  For the flowers I used the Petite Petals punch from Stampin Up.

Fathers Day Card

My father is no longer with us, so this card is for my son who has two beautiful little girls.  He waited until he was a little older to get married and have a family and he has become a great Dad.  They are really into archery even the girls have little bows and are really good with them, so I wanted to show that in his Fathers Day Card .  I am entering my card in the Tuesday Morning Sketches challenge #253 and also at Crazy 4 Challenges #239 (any style card with the theme Man Made). This is for you Rob.

Hello

I have made a card for the challenge at Try Stamping on Tuesdays, challenge #171 with a masculine twist using shades of green and brown with the yellow on a kraft card base.  The word hello is AC Glossy Thickers Stickers in brown.  The butterfly if from the Pretty-Butterflies-Dragonfly-Dies-MCT-D78, a die from Creative Time Dies.  Out of all the butterfly dies I have I like these the best because I feel they look so delicate.  For the butterfly on this card I used the middle size die cut from black, and the smallest size die which was cut from the throw away part of a piece of cardstock.

Let's Celebrate

It's Mojo Monday challenge #349 and I made this card for the challenge.  I like the bold red with the softer floral pattern and using the green for an accent color.

I Don't Do Mornings!

I'm back from a little break and made this card for Mojo Monday.  I love this graphic and have used it on a t-shirt that is almost worn out so I need to do another one!  (This is how I feel and look most mornings until I get my first cup of coffee!)
