It's almost Halloween! I love this time of year, when the leaves turn colors and there is a crisp coolness to the air. So today I am sharing a Halloween Card.  I will be sending this card to my granddaughters Kalie and Addie, along with treat boxes I am making for them.  They don't live in AZ so everything has to go via mail.  But being little girls, they love getting things this way and it makes them feel special.  I will post pictures of the treat boxes when they are done.

Welcome to my blog.  Here I will share posts of things I have made and maybe little updates about what is going on in my corner of the world. Thanks for stopping by.
My nice got married last month and this is the card I made for her.  I wanted to do something that was not just an ordinary card and found this pop up cake svg file (here is the like to the website that I got the file from, if you scroll down you will see some examples and a link to a free cut file: http://extremecards.blogspot.com/2010/07/origamic-architecture-wedding-cake.html) I used my Pazzles die cut machine and then made the rest of the card. It made a 6 x 10 in card so it was not small and I had to be creative with the envelope.  But I thought it was beautiful.
This is a card that I made for my sister and her husband for their anniversary.  I used my Spellbinders to make the hearts to represent the husband and the wife. I tried to emboss the wife heart, but didn't like the way it came out. So I used my score board to make score marks and gently folded them and then unfolded them and they created a slight shadow effect on the heart.  My sister loved and appreciated the card.
