Drink Coffee. . .
This card is for the sketch challenge at Sweet Sketch Wednesday 2 and the theme is coffee. Since I am a coffee drinker and can't start my day without a couple of cups, this image of Stella from Bugaboo Digi Stamps is so ME. (Although these days even several cups of coffee does't give me much energy!) One of my sharpest memories while growing up is the smell of coffee brewing on the old wood cook stove. My Mom always had a pot going and I remember that is the scent that I woke up to every morning.

Best Wishes
This is an anniversary card for my niece. I used sketch challenge #237 at Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge for my main design. I love how it is simple but makes a big impact. I embossed the blue background with the Swiss Dots Embossing folder, then used washie tape in black patterns for the strips. I stamped the sentiment and cut it out for the front. I'm sure she will love it.

Sympathy Card
A family member just lost her father and I wanted to make a card for her. I searched all the sketch challenge sites that I have in my favorites folder to find a sketch that I thought would work for this card. It's from Sketch Saturday #328 and I loved the layout. I used a deep edge die cut from Birds Cards to create the bottom of the card layer on a basic A2 white card. I used Broken China Distress Ink to stamp the center die cut with the sentiment. I added two flowers for extra interest and this is my card.

Spooky Happy Halloween
This card is for the challenge at Crazy 4 Challenges #254. I made a spider web die cut from gray cardstock. I then embossed it with a silver metalic embossing powder to give it a little bit of sheen. I printed out the Frankenstien clipart and tnen cut it out in the shape for the challenge. I die cut the bat border (from Birds Cards) and then added the sentiments. It makes a really cute card. If I counting right I have to make four more halloween cards and then I will have all my grandkids and great grandbaies covered. I love having lots of family to make cards for, and they all enjoy getting them!

HB2U
My niece's birthday is soon and I used the sketch challenge at Sweet Sketch Wednesday 2 challenge #228 as the inspiration for my card. I have been pulling out a lot of things from my stash lately and using those items on my cards. The diagonal strip is from that stash. I used a die cut for the circle and a SU flower stamp, colored it with Copics and distressed the edges. I used letters from the Paper Studio for my sentiment. I hope she likes it.

Happy Halloween
I made another halloween card to enter in the challenge #363 at Mojo Monday. I have had some Graphic 45 Halloween cardstock for some time and have never used it, so I got it out and made this card. I really like the color combination of orange and black with the printed paper, and love how the card turned out.

Shiney Car Birthday
The challenge at Fusion Card Challenge was to use shinney pink like the photo, or the sketch as inspiration. I used the photo and found a pink car grsphic thet I cut out. Then I added glitter to it to make it shinney. I used another graphic of Nell from Becky's Place, and colored it then cut it to fint in the car. I added the scalloped background to make the car pop, and some itty bitty flowers for extra intrest, then added the sentiment banner and a butterfly..

Trick or Treat
This card is for challenge #168 at Deconstructing Jen. The challenge was to use something behind the image to create a background, like stenciling, or paste, or something similar. I wanted a Halloween card and found a skull border svg cut file at Birds Cards. which I sized and cut out on my electronic cutter to make a stencil. Using Antique Photo Distress Ink I created the skull background on my card. I added the graphic and my stamps to the front of the card and also the inside. I think it made a cute Halloween card.

Welcome Card for Violet
My Grandaughter had a baby girl on October 23 so I made this card for her. She named the baby Violet so I used shades of purple on the card. I used sketch challenge #167 from Decontructing Jen (but once again I was to late to enter). I rotated it for the idea of my card. The graphic of the baby in the carrage is a free graphic I downloaded. I added a touch of lace and some round crystals to the carragie top, then put little crystal stars all over for some bling.
