Mothers Day Card
I know that Mothers Day is not until May, but with the Mojo Monday Challenge #386 being a Tall and Skinny challenge this card just took shape. I am also entering it in the Simon Says Wednesday Anything Goes challenge. I love the different shades of pink in combination with the hint of brown peeking out. I was also able to use up some more scraps in my stash, like the oval die cut that was from a different card I made and was the cut out from the front of the card which had been embossed with the Sizzix Scroll Embossing folder. I shaded it with ink to work with the card. The sentiment banner is from Just Rite Paper Craft Stamps. The shape of this banner fit perfectly at the bottom of the oval.
I know my Mom will love it.

Happy Birthday Card
My sketch challenge entry today is for Tuesday Morning Sketches #288. I love their sketches because they are always so pretty and versatile. I made a brown card base and used some wood grain patterned paper as my background. My scallop circle is a die from My Creative Time and it has stitched detailing although it's hard to see in the picture. I die cut the sentiment Happy Birthday which is a Spellbinders die and then added the yellow flowers. The small flowers are made from a Stampin Up punch and then added a black sequin in the center. I think it came out really well!

HELLO Card
It's been a while since I posted any cards, had to give myself a rest. That said, my card today is for two different challenges. The first challene is for Pals Paper Arts color challenge #PPA239. The second challenge is for Deconstructed Jen Challenge #188 which is a sketch challenge. (I might also be able to enter this card into the Clean and Simple card challenge. I'll have to go to the site and take a look.) I love the way the card turned out using these two themes as my inspiration. The two shades of brown really made the red pop.

Happy Birthday
This card is an entry in the Mojo Monday Sketch Challenge #383. The stamped image is a free stamp from one of my magazines. It didn't stamp as well as I would have liked but it was useable. I colored it with copic markers and used water colors in the background, I cut it out using a new Spellbinders die that I recently purchased. It will make a cute card for one of my younger nieces.
