Smiles Abound

It's Mojo Monday sketch challenge #347 and the challenge was a tall and skinny card.  I love smiley faces and thought this made a cute card.

Thinking of You

My card today is for the challenge at Freshly Made Sketches #137.  I love the Beautiful Borders die cut from Spellbinders that I used.  It is so elegant, and when combined with the black and white theme it is very pretty.

 The Butterflys are the SU butterfly punches. and the cardstock is kraft cardstock.

Birthday Cake

My card today is for a challenge at The Deconstructed Sketch #152.  I made my card a tri- fold card but used the sketch for my guideline.  The graphic is from Stitchy Bears Digi Outlet which I colored with copics. The flowers are the petite petals from SU.

For the challenge at Tuesday Morning Sketches #250, I made the following card.  The digital image is from Stitchy Bear Digi Outlet called One Wish that I colored withCopics.

Happy Birthday

I made a card for the Mojo Monday Sketch challenge #346.  I needed another birthday card for a neice so this is what I came up with.

I used AC cardstock Grapfruit Weave for the card base and made the card a standard sized A2 card.  I oversized the circle and backed it with a black scalloped circle to highlight the gold embossed center.  The background paper is from the Printery collection by C.M. Weiland.  The sentiment is cut on my Cricut using one of the fonts that I own.

Littlest Grad

Here is the card that I made for my little granddaughter who graduates from kindergarten.  All these little milestones we get to celebrate with family is wonderful. I used the sketch challenge  DS #151 from The Deconstructed Sketch site for my card.  I love this sketch because the possibilites are so varied.  The graduate bear was a free graphic and perfect for a little girl.

 

I did not put anything on the inside of the card yet as I'm not sure what my gift will be.  I don't think I will give her money because she is so little, but maybe some-thing crafty for her to do from either Michaels or Hobby Lobby.  They have lots of fun kits for little girls that I know she would love.

2014 Graduation

My Grandaughter graduates from high school this year and this is the card I made for her. I used the challenge sketch at Crazy 4 Challenges #236 as my layout and made an envolope to hold money or a gift card that I put inside the card. She has been through a lot in the last year and I am so proud of her that she stayed in school to get her diploma.

Now I have to make a second card for my litte grandaughter who just graduated from Kindergarten and I'll post that tomorrow.

A Fusion Challenge

I was looking at some of the other blogs that I follow and found a link to a challenge site that is new to me and wanted to try it out.  The current challenge at the Fusion Challenge site was using the colors black, yellow and white, the sketch, or both.  I used both to create this card.  I will be adding this challenge site to my list of favorites!

Marriage and Commitment

My daughter's anniversary is coming up later this month so I used the sketch at Freshly Made Sketches #135 and a PPA #203 color challenge to make this card.  I love the Stella artwork and left this one in black and white.  I know that my daughter and her husband will get a good laugh from this card.

Addies' Birthday Card

My card today is a box card for my granddaughter.  It's amazing how fast they grow up.  But she loves princesses and castles so this card is a good choice for her.

The card is a cut file from www.svgcuts.com and there are five different box cards.  I hope she likes it.

PPA Color Challenge
