I chose to use the square shape and since I love snow globes, I thought this was the perfect challenge to use them on. I grew up in northern MN so this is as close to snow as I want to get!!

I have been busy for the last couple of days making cards and a Christmas Treat Box. The first card has cute little sewing mice and can be used for any occasion for someone who likes to sew. There are several fussy cuts layered on the card. I submitted this card for a fussy cut challenge: Timeless Tuesday #243 (FTTC243) at www.flourishes.org/blog
The next card is a Gingerbread Cookie Jar Card that also uses fussy cuts on the cookie jar.

And last is the Christmas Treat Box. Can't you just see it filled with Christmas Candy and given to that someone special?
Time to get back to work, stamping, cutting and getting my fingers sticky with glue!!
Have a great weekend, Judy

I have been busy making birthday cards for my sisters and my sister-in-law These three cards are files that I purchased from a UK company called Instant Card Making Downloads. They have a huge assortment of cards, boxes, 3-D crafts plus a lot more. Their cards are beautiful, but I do have to say that I was disappointed that the card files come with little or no instructions, so I had to wing it. My results may not have been correct, but I feel that my cards came out very nice anyway. The card files contain print outs of all the parts needed to make the card and its envelope, which I then cut out and assembled. The first card is a basket of flowers that are layered to give a 3-D effect.
The next card is a blue shoe with flowers in it and this one also is layered.

The last one is my favorite, and was the hardest one to figure out Everything on this card is layered but when it was done it just stands on its own. It did not come with an envelope so I will have to get creative which is not a bad thing, since I will have to brace between the layers so it will not get crushed when mailed. One of my sisters loves chocolate, so I may make a tube and fill it with M&M's to put in the center pop up. This will help maintain the shape of that part of the card. I hope this makes sense to everyone!
Now all I have to do is decide who gets which card!!

Today I have several things to post. First I made some little Halloween treat boxes for my two grand children Kalie and Addie. I think they will really like these and I am putting in some M&M's. I used my Pazzles electric die cutting machine to cut them out. These cut files are from: www.myscrapchick.com. The hair comes off to put in the candy and the mouth is a dispenser. The top of Dracula's head is black, but there must have been a reflection when I took the picture. I think they are really cute.
