Challenge #284 at Pals Paper Arts this week is a sketch challenge. I used gold foiled vellum and stamped out the flower from the Best Thoughts stamp set and greeting from Butterfly Basics. I used water color pencils to add just a hint of color to the flower. It made a very clean and simple but sweet birthday card.
Gorgeous. I like how you angled the paper so that the hearts were still horizontally perfect.
ReplyDeleteSo pretty! Love the vellum! Glad you joined us at PPA!
ReplyDeleteWow! What a great idea, I love the gold heart vellum paper with that beautiful flower overlay.
ReplyDeleteHearts and flowers! This could very easily be a valentine's card with a different sentiment - how versatile! I love the little detail of the flower stem behind the vellum. It really makes it look like the flower is being kept in place by the vellum "pocket". Thanks for playing along with Pals Paper Arts this week! We hope to see you again soon :)
ReplyDeleteVery pretty with the touch of vellum. Love the coloring, too. Really caught my eye.
ReplyDeleteOh Judy, your coloring skills are so on point and so beautiful. It puts so much life in the flower. Thank you so much for playing the Pals Paper Arts sketch challenge.
