My brother and his wife will have their 29th anniversary soon and I wanted to make a card for them. I used the sketch challenge at Sweet Sketch Sunday challenge #256 for my inspiration and this is my card. I used my electric die cut machine to cut out the leaves, a five petal flower punch from Stampin Up for the flowers, and arranged them in a circle around my sentiment. I embellished both with a white gel pen by drawing lines on them and then adding the Martha Stewart emerald gem stickers in the center. I added a butterfly that has liquid pearl dots in the center and on the wing tips. I like the way that it turned out and I know they will like it too.

My Card Group Birthday Card
I meet with a card group on Thursday mornings and we each bring a sample card and all the supplies so each person can make that card. This is the card that I chose to do with the group yesterday. It was so much fun and I showed them a new technique using a side step card. Every one really enjoyed making this card and I'm sure that I'll try another shaped card for a future get together.
I am entering this card in a card challenge at http://www.simonsaysstampblog.com/wednesdaychallenge/ an anything goes challenge and this card fits right in. I used the following supples to make this card:
