Christmas Card

My card today is for a PPA Challenge #224.  It is time to start making Christmas cards so I used this challenge as my inspiration for this card.  The card stock I used is called Noel, which is a 6x6 paper pad from Reflections (Michaels brand).  All of the colors in this collection are muted so I chose the colors for my strips and mounted it on a green card stock base.  I stamped and cut out the Santa Face from the Stampin Up collection called Santa Stache.  I love the two images in thos collection and it worked well with the color palate.  I used Copic markers to color my Santa and used som Glossy Accents on the beard and mustache and on his hat.  I used a die cut from Elizabeth Crafts for the sentiment and then added some faux stitching for a little extra pop to the card.  On the inside of the card I plan to make a pocket type envelope to hold a gift card.  I just know one of my grandkids will love this card.  (Might be more for the gift card than the card itself, but that's okay.)

  1. Fun card, Judy! Thanks for playing at PPA--come back soon!

  2. You really made all these patterns work well together. Great snipping of the santa too! A fun Christmas card.

  3. Super cute Christmas card! Thanks for having fun with the Pals the week!
