Birthday Card

My card for today is a card that I made for the sketch challenge #110 at Sunday Stamps.  I wanted to showcase the cat and the bird so I didn't add much and kept it simple.  The result is very striking with the black and the white and then a pop of color with the image of the cat.

To Sexy For My Broom: A Halloween Card

I made this card to enter in the Anything Goes Challenge at: Craft Your Passion challenge #279, and the challenge over at Simon Says Anything Goes Challenge, Die Crazy.  It's a slider card.  I hand made the song banner and then cut out the web background using an svg cut from Birds Cards.  Her cuts are always so easy to use and they are free.  Her generosity amazes me.  I saw this cat and thought it was so cute I just had to make him on a card!  I colored him with copic markers and then fussy cut him out.  I used two pennies for the image so it would not spin around on the card and just slide.  For the inside I cut out a second web but turned it the other way so the slit is at the top.  I made a Tag to go into the slit with the words Boo and Happy Halloween on it.  It made the perfect Halloween card for my grand kids and great grand kids.
